"DINNER RIDE/SOLDIER SHOW:"

----17 November. It was FREE and Lou Mitchell..er, Pat Hasiak, led the way to a great evening at Fort Belvoir! After a Chapter Dinner at the Capitol Grill & Buffet, in Woodbridge, a large group was led to Fort Belvoir for another unforgettable Show by some very talented Army Soldiers. Another great VA-I Dinner Ride.

"MANASSAS ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE:"

----24 Bikes! A great response by Chapter I members, VA-A members and Mannasas Honda Riders Club members and friends. Most-decorated bike was Ric Cross of VA-A! Leo MacDonald won for most Flags! The Big Dog II had the most Heroes (Policeman, Fireman and Military) displayed. Lois Simpson won for “Cutest” Bike! Lou Mitchell had the biggest Mascot ever seen! Lou & Patti Card and Jr & Nancy was a crowd-pleaser with the most candy, while Charles Bettis was the most popular with parents (stopping his Trike to shake hands & chat with the kids). Dave Timbs and Jesse Baldwin’s white bikes were sorely needed for a Red, White and Blue Bike effect in front & rear of contingent.

"CHAPTER I CHRISTMAS PARTY:"

----Another Chapter Couple Success: Taking a page and advice from last year’s Chapter Couple (Bob & Nancy Burgoyne); this year’s COY, Jeff & Deb Sterling and their own little Elves, Scott & Leslie, and Helpers; set up a very successful 2nd annual Chapter Christmas Party. A great turn-out with more than enough Food, Desserts, Drinks and Door Prizes. Santa Claus (or was that Bruce Babcock?) conducted a very “active” Gift Exchange.
